The mission of our Adult Ministry is to "Disciple people to bring people to Christ; Teach people what the Bible says; Train people how to live for God; Provide Christian counsel; and Help people with their life's needs.

 

Celebrate Recovery

The road to recovery program that is based on the eight principles of the Beatitudes in Matthew 5:3-10. Meets every Sunday evening at 7:00 in room WC211 (upstairs)

 Mothers of Preschoolers

If you have a preschooler please come join MOPS, for their monthly meeting.  Special projects include crafts, letters to service men, special speakers, and just enjoying time with other mothers of small children.

Our Faith Community Nurse offers programs that nurture your health.  Blood pressure checks to ZUMBA classes.

 

 

 

 

Elder Care

A ministry for Senior Members 80 years and older.  Volunteers try to help our congregation meet the needs of our senior church members by offering support for transportation, shopping, partnering, and visitation along with equipping for spiritual growth.

KAF (Kayakers for Christ)

A relaxing adventurous group. Paddle once a month and visit some of God's beautiful creations. Interested? Please email elvirasmom@gmail.com for more information on upcoming trips. This is a great way to introduce your friends to First United Methodist Church.

 

 

 

 

 Men of Iron

A MAN'S JOURNEY is meeting every Friday morning in the Wesley Hall at 7AM. Also, as part of our men's ministry, this group host an occasional guest speaker or catered breakfast (coffee and bagels are the norm) as they fellowship and draw closer to Christ.

Riders of all types; Harley, Yamaha, Polaris, Suzuki, Kawasaki, Schwinn (not) are welcome for morning rides planned for the last Saturday of each month.  Come join this group for a safe riding environment and Christ Centered Fellowship

 

 

United Methodist Women

Various circle groups meet throughout the month at the church or individual homes for prayer, fellowship and mission projects such as Ditty Bags, Shoe Boxes, and Quilting.
